Working together to foster a safe environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.
Wakulla County, Florida
The mission of WCCY is to work collaboratively across agency and provider networks to prevent and reduce high-risk behaviors among youth and families, including youth substance use, by addressing individual and environmental factors that increase risk and promoting evidence-based programs and strategies that strengthen youth and families.
The vision of WCCY is a future where youth and families in Wakulla County can live a life that is in a safe and healthy environment, intentionally free of drugs.
We are delighted that our organization has been selected as the recipient of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program grant. This prestigious program recognizes and supports our commitment to promoting drug-free communities, and we are honored to have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of initiatives focused on preventing substance abuse and fostering healthier communities.
WCCY is made up of representatives from 12 sectors of the Wakulla community, which ensures a broad range of community expertise is included. These sector representatives work collaboratively to coordinate services, exchange ideas, and share resources. Explore the many resources from organizations in each sector below.
